Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot Premier Cru 2014 

From two parcels in the higher reaches of Morgeot. Quite intense and tense on the nose. And then lemony and herbal on the palate. Not one of the most reserved, and probably not that long living, but delivering lots of pleasure at a non-ridiculous price. Drink 2016-2021

From two parcels planted respectively in 1965 and 1975 (on SO4 rootstock, so frequently millerandé and with very small grapes). Mid intensity on the nose. Correct and with some energy. Middle of the road, but then it’s a middle-of-the-road price. Drink 2017-2022

From a single parcel leased for 40 years but bought only a year ago. Lightly chalky on the nose. Good and substantial on the palate. Silky and substantial. Very serious wine with a dry finish   and really satisfying texture and future. Drink 2017-2024
